What is the best makeup for dry skin?

I have very dry skin in my T-zone, and like many others how as well I have a hard time finding a foundation that doesn’t look all flaky when I put it on. Usually I’ll moisturize my face, then mix moisturizer into my foundation and apply it with a makeup sponge as gently as possible. This however doesn’t help the fact that I still have dry flaky patches of skin on my forehead and around my nose. I have tried every from oil free, to mineral powder, to just plain old foundation and nothing seemed to work. Finally I stumbled across this foundation that has been a life saver. It is called Maybelline Pure makeup, its shine and oil free with a water base. I moisturize my face as normal and I honestly don’t even need to mix moisturizer with my foundation anymore. I would recommend it to anyone with dry skin. At least try it because it has worked wonders for me.
